Do you offer eSIM cards?

Upon request, an eSIM card can be provided, whether it is the main SIM card or an additional data SIM card.

Who is responsible for customer service and billing?

Wifx is your sole point of contact.

Do I have to pay an activation fee for my new Wifx subscription?

A fee of CHF 50 is charged for activating a SIM card. However, in certain circumstances (multiple subscriptions and/or joint subscriptions to a wired service), these fees may be reduced or even waived. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

What happens if I exceed my plan allowance?

If you exceed your plan, additional charges may apply depending on your usage. Additional packages (data/calls) are available when travelling abroad.

How can I contact Wifx if I have a question or problem?

We are available by phone at +41 24 550 01 70 or by email at info@wifx.net. You can also use our online contact form. We are committed to responding to you promptly.

What documents do I need to provide to subscribe to Wifx?

To take out a subscription, you will need to provide a copy of your identity document (passport or identity card) if you are a private customer. For businesses, an extract from the commercial register is sufficient.

Do I need to cancel my contract with my current operator myself?

No. We will send you a porting document that will serve as a cancellation notice, which will then be forwarded to your current operator.

What is the cancellation period with my current operator?

If you are a direct customer of Sunrise or Salt and do not have any devices on an instalment plan with them, we can transfer your number within 10 working days of receiving the necessary documents, at no cost to you from the operators concerned. For other operators, the notice period varies, but is generally 60 days, provided you do not have a minimum contract term to comply with.

Can I keep my phone number when changing operators?

Yes, you can keep your phone number when switching to Wifx. This process requires number portability. When you submit your request, simply let us know that you want to transfer your current number and Wifx will take care of all the administrative details.
