Wifx LoRaWAN Gateways: Swiss-engineered for rugged environments
Since 2016, Wifx has been designing and manufacturing LoRaWAN gateways in Switzerland for IoT projects. Our goal has remained the same since day one: to offer long-range, very low-power, and highly reliable connectivity for telemetry, supervision, and automation, whether in urban, rural, or industrial environments.
Wifx L1 4G: compact, robust, and ready anywhere
The Wifx L1 4G is a LoRaWAN® gateway that combines an ultra-compact format with a very robust construction. Its minimal footprint allows for discreet and flexible installation, including on already loaded masts or in hard-to-reach spaces. The IP65 casing and durable materials ensure long-lasting resistance to bad weather, temperature variations, and harsh environments.
Integrated 4G (LTE Cat 1bis) connectivity makes it an ideal solution for isolated or temporary sites where wired options are limited. PoE power simplifies commissioning: a single RJ45 cable is enough to power and connect it. The modern web interface is accessible from a computer or smartphone and allows for clear configuration, without specific skills.
Reliability and security with LORIX OS
Beyond the hardware, the L1 embeds LORIX OS, our operating system optimized for LoRaWAN gateways. Regular updates, security patches, and new features ensure long-term stability. LORIX OS offers simple and complete administration: interface supervision, LoRaWAN packet management, logs, alerts, and standard integrations to major network servers.
Based on Linux and open, LORIX OS allows great freedom of integration. You can adapt the gateway to your needs, automate deployment, add packages, and integrate it with your DevOps and supervision tools.

We offer practical training on LoRaWAN, LORIX OS, and best deployment practices: radio sizing, antenna selection, mounting and power supply, integration with the network server and IoT platform. Our teams can also assist you on-site for study, installation, and coverage validation.
