Wifx: 20 years of history, a major competition and a leading role at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025

The year 2025 marks an important milestone for Wifx: we have been supporting our customers with increasingly powerful network solutions for 20 years. To celebrate this anniversary in style, we have launched an exclusive prize draw to thank those who have placed their trust in us over the years.

A competition dedicated to youth and sport

On 23 June 2025, 34 winners each won two seats for a match at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025, held from 28 June to 6 July at the Vaudoise Arena in Lausanne. These lucky winners will receive their tickets directly and will have the chance to attend one of the biggest international junior basketball competitions in a unique atmosphere.

Wifx, technology partner of the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025

Beyond the competition, we are proud to have been chosen as the technology partner to provide professional Wi-Fi connectivity for the event. Our mandate covers:

  • Installation and rental of all Wi-Fi equipment and switches
  • Provision of Internet connection
  • On-site technical support throughout the tournament
  • Complete dismantling once the competition is over

More than 4,500 m² of the Vaudoise Arena will thus benefit from fast and reliable wireless coverage, which is essential for technical teams, the media and organisers.

20 years of innovation serving our customers

For two decades, Wifx has been designing and deploying tailor-made solutions in the most demanding environments. This double event – our competition and our commitment to the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025 – perfectly illustrates our values: innovation, excellence and proximity. A lasting commitment to our customers and partners

Thank you to our customers and partners

None of this would be possible without the loyalty of our customers and the support of our partners. Thank you for being part of the Wifx adventure for 20 years; we look forward to continuing to connect your projects for years to come.
